Brittanni's Logboek, 08 mrt 12

I'm not doing good lately. I have been so busy that I haven't been paying much attention to eating healthy or logging my food on here. I've also realized lately that I eat way to many carbs and fat in my diet. That's probably why I gained 20 pounds last year! Today is another busy day. I have atleast 20 things on my to do list. :/ Going to try to eat healthy but I don't have much in the way of groceries. I don't get paid till tomorrow. :/

Reading Fasting and Eating for Health by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. It's such a great book. This man is genius. Recommended reading for sure.

I'm thinking about doing a 90 day back to health challenge that I have created for my self. It would be as follows... 10 days of raw food, 20 days of juice fasting, 30 days of water fasting, 20 days of juice fasting, and 10 days of raw food. I want to do this but I have to quit smoking for the water fasting. I'm afraid it would be dangerous. :/ Ah! Why is quitting smoking so hard!

Does water fasting mean that you'd only consume water?

If you went 30 days of not eating any food, you could end up in the hospital. Juicing and a raw food diet can be very healthy if done correctly, but not giving your body any nutrients for 30 days could GIVE you health problems. Be careful!

Try Mastering Leptin Fasting for long periods of time can cause serious hormone issues from causing Leptin Resistance... VERY unhealthy... you could just look up Dr. Jack Kruse online and read what he says to do for free.

I have read at least 20 books about fasting. I know all about it and I know how to do it safely. Water fasting is not dangerous. I have water fasted for 30 days in the past and I have juice fasted for 15. Do your research.

When you are water fasting, your body is feeding of the storage of fat and nutrients you have in your body. Only when you run out of the extra fat/nutrients is it dangerous.
