Feeling pretty good this morning.

Tired, but good. My friend flaked on me for bootcamp yesterday, using a migrane as an excuse. True, she does suffer from migranes, but when she is exercising she feels better about herself and the migranes tend to disappear. Truth be told, the migrane is just the most recent in almost 2 weeks worth of excuses, ranging anywhere from "I didn't sleep last night" to "I'm shopping with (bad news boy) and don't think I'll be home in time" to "oh I promised so and so I would...". So since I didn't make it to the gym yesterday morning, I decided I would make myself go after work. I jogged/walked on the treadmill for 35 minutes and that was better than nothing. It's so much more difficult going after work because I will literally have between 1 & 2 hours of awake time before I have to get to bed. That leaves no time for cleaning or catching up on my DVR'd shows. I know that once I get to where I want to be, I can cut back and will be able to maintain. I guess I will just have to make that sacrafice till I get where I want. Then this morning I dragged my sleepy butt to the gym and did weights. Tonight is bootcamp... at least that's what she said last night.... I need to go on Thursday and buy a new video to keep at my house for nights that she flakes.

On another happier note: only 3 days till my honey is home and with me all the time.... soooo excited!

Hate that your friend is flaking on you- I find it easier to work out on my own anyway! :) I know you are thrilled to have the fiance coming home to you- and for good!

It sounds like your friend isn't into it the same as you are, she doesn't have the motivation to make it a priority. I can relate since I use to be like that, I would flip through the channels looking for something to watch on TV, find nothing but still sit on my ass and not move. Thats great that thing worked out for you and your fiance.

At least you're trying to keep up your workouts even if your friend isn't. Maybe when she sees how great you look, she'll get the motivation to stick to the workouts. After I get home, it's time for supper, dishes, help with homework, read with the kids, then relax, so I don't have much time in the evening for a workout, so I stick to the a.m. I wish I could be as motivated as you to do the evening workouts too. Keep up the good work!!

Dont let her control your destiny or put a damper on your enthusiastic motivaton...this can be very BAD. Good job on your exersize tho.
