I am off Keto so buying small portions keeps me on track. Even if I eat 2 its less than most ice cream treats : )

I bought mini ciabatta rolls at my local grocery stores. The nutritional information wasn't provided but they look to be about 1/4 the size of the regular/big rolls. So I just calculated at 1/3 to be safe and was able to have a hot roll with butter for breakfast and don't feel like I'm cheating at all. Years ago I lost 40 pounds and I remember when I packed my lunch for work I put in 1 (just one!) pecan sandy. It kept me going. Haven't been able to do that since retirement. If I had a package of pecan sandys in the pantry chances are I'd finish them within a couple days.

This evening I did something that I never have done before. I had to go to the pharmacy to pick up a medication. The pharmacy is in a grocery store known for its bakery. I decided to go in to get my medication because I also wanted to buy a treat, a piece of white cake with white frosting and topped with nuts. There was no cake. I then thought, long john with white frosting and nuts. There was one long john with my requirements but the bun was packaged with 11 other rolls. Nope I WAS NOT buying that. Then I thought HoHos. There was Hostess cupcakes, twinkles, and ding dongs on the rack but no HoHos. I left the store without making a purchase. 🐾
