Day 5 of detox and things or going ok....the weekend was rough, didn't follow 100%, but I am fine with it, still lost 2 lbs! I am proud of myself...this tells me that no matter what I can do this! If only I could skip the weekends......but then I would have to work all the time and that is no good!!!!
Friday night went for a 4 mile walk and then made Chicken rice soup....brown rice, chicken broth and some veggies (mushrooms, carrots and celery). It was pretty good and very easy to make, basically just chicken noodle soup with rice instead of noodles....I made enough for 4 days!
Saturday I had a grapefruit for breakfast and some chicken rice soup for lunch and a little more of it for dinner that night, didn't eat a lot that day due to being so busy cleaning house and putting Christmas decorations away. Went over to some friends house Sat night and had a couple drinks...oh well, it happens.
Got up pretty late on Sun morning and had some more soup (that was lunch and breakfast) then went to a show and had popcorn, didn't feel like cooking so we stopped at Taco Bell and I had their new taquittos(sp)...they were good, very small so I wasn't too worried about it.
Today, I am back on track and going to do great! Going to hit the elliptical machine tonight after work for a while, then have volleyball, can't wait! Breakfast ~ grapefruit snack ~ Fruit smoothie Lunch ~ Chicken Rice soup snack ~ Apple Dinner ~ Not sure yet, but will try to make something that I will have extras so that I have meals ready for the week.
