maggamin's Logboek, 06 jun 12

Day 13 - Yesterday, the ketostix finally went to purple. Very purple this morning still. Seems my 70 -75% fat and next to no carbs ratio has finally put me into full ketosis. Still drinking a lot of water - at least 10 or more a day. Now we'll see if I actually start losing some of this fat that has been living on my body like a parasite.

I received Dr. Atkins original book in the mail yesterday and it looks like I did fairly well on his Level 1 from a list of allowable foods I found on-line. I made a few mistakes - the black olives are not allowed. And I found it is okay to drink black tea that has caffeine in it. I also made the mistake of limiting my calories, which is probably a huge deal. I know I felt hungry the few evenings before last, which shouldn't happen. We'll see if it made a difference or not. If anything I may have gained weight because of the calorie restriction.

Such a pain in the arse! Hopefully, this will get my body going. Finally.
