Trying steel cut oats savory style!! Having gone plant based whole food vegan.. I think I miss scrambled eggs the most of I were to say I actually “missed” anything. So giving this recipe of Ann Essylstyn’s a try! Start getting my greens early in the day too!! 🤞

The oats were really good! They are almost more like rice or barley than oatmeal. I even have them like this for an evening quick meal now.. it’s steel cut oats, kale, mushrooms, fire roasted tomatoes (canned), nutritional yeast, turmeric, liquid aminos and cumin. Add a couple dashes of siracha too..
