So, I had my first session with the personal trainer yesterday. We worked on upper body and cardio. I didn't feel too bad yesterday. My wrist froze up on me afterwards, but it's not swollen anymore, and doesn't hurt if I don't move it too much. We had my sisters and some friends over last night, and had pizza. I didn't feel bad at all, because it was my cheat meal for last week, and I had saved up for it. I even had a glass of diet soda...but I didn't like that. I'm so used to having water or half water half juice if I feel like something sweet, that the soda just tasted like syrup in my mouth!
I thought I didn't work out enough yesterday, because I wasn't melting by the end of my workout the way I usually do on my own. But...this morning, oh my goodness! I am soooo sore! And happy to be sore! I guess the session was about working smarter, not harder. I hope I see some results soon!
