I’ve been really bad about logging my food diary lately. Good news is that it’s not because I’m falling off the wagon!! I used this to help me transition to a whole food plant based lifestyle and it’s been very helpful for that indeed!! I’ve been plant based for 2 1/2 months now and I have cut my statin drug in half and feel amazing! While I didn’t log my weight at the very beginning and the weight I logged here started at 160 lbs, I was touching 170 at the very beginning... and so today marks me at nearly a 20 lb loss!! My cholesterol went from 182 to 70.. yes SEVENTY, hence the pull back on my statin med from 10mg to 5 now.. and best of all, I FEEL AMAZING!! Will try to be better at keeping up my log, but I’ve always hated login food and counting calories! So I am now focusing on getting in all my nutrient rich needs.. my omegas thru hemp seed, flax and chia and getting 6 servings of dark greens everyday!! Ok.. well thanks for letting me reflect.. happy days to all!
