Late day entry, just wanted to make a note of some changes my DH and I are going to start.
Bought couple of books on The New Clucose Revolution - Low GI Eating Made Easy and The Low GI Shopper's Guide to GI Values 2012.
Got to clean out a few things in our shelves that I shouldn't be eating anyway, like the Idahoan Instant Mashed Potatoes, but I really think this makes a lot of sense to eat lower glycemic index foods. I think understanding the GI helps you choose the right amount of carbs and the right type of carbs. Their "plate" consists of 1/4 carbs, 1/4 protein, and 1/2 veggies & fruits.
DH and I are doing this together, so I'm very hopeful. I'm not going to changes my diet from Atkins on FS just yet.
