I have gained two pounds. I’m ver relieved because I feared I’d gained more. I do notice that even when I’m not on my diet I’m more aware of what and how much I’m eating.
I have to really get down to business and lose some weight.
I have put deposits on cruise trip this summer. So no going back. I’m feeling more motivated and I want to be in better shape for the trip.
I think this will be a great motivator for me in losing weight.

I think most of my weight loss this past week was water weight but I'm still happy with it. I was trying to kick start my diet with a fast, but after four days of me repeatedly falling off the diet entirely, I decided that maybe starting off with a fast just wasn't going to work for me, since temptation is still a major problem for me.
I had a training this past week that talked about how we are not supposed say "do not HIT," or "NO Running," because all that is remembered is the words hit and run and that is exactly what they do.
I starting thinking about how that applied to my diet and exercise. I am always thinking you can't have this and you can't do this. I focus and obsess on the things I shouldn't be. I need to start focusing on all the things I can eat and all the things I can do. Low carb diet actually allows me to eat a lot of pretty delicious foods and I should focus more on that. Maybe that is what my brain needs to help change my bad habits. I honestly think that it has helped me the last three days. Being more aware and focusing on what I can eat and do from here on out.
