...I think I'm going to have to start a different diet plan. I am working out 5 days a week and eating well, drinking lots of water, and taking a multivitamin and still...nothing. 4 weeks of nothing. I'm going to try Weight Watchers and see how that goes for me.

I'm glad I pushed myself through the pain of my knee and hip after my first run.
I feel pretty good now. Still a tiny bit of soreness in my hip...but nothing that is going to stop me from working out today.
I've deiced that for my first 2 weeks I'm going to fast walk just to get my body accustomed to the high impact that running has on your joints.
So far it seems to be working fine and I don't feel like I'm slacking on my workout just because I'm walking instead of running. I'm still sweating when I'm finished. :)

I made Moqueca last night. It was really good...but hard to put down in my food journal. It's a good thing there wasn't a lot of complicated ingredients in it at all really...just some veggies, olive oil, lemon and lime juice, cilantro, salt and pepper, cod, shrimp, and coconut milk. It was SO good. I will most certainly be making this again.

The last couple of weeks have just been bad. I’m pretty much just took a swan dive off the wagon. Eating poorly, barely exercising, and not drinking as much water as I should be.
I don’t know why I became so discouraged about my weight loss so quickly…but I’m back on the saddle starting today. My big motivational factor was when I went and tried on Wedding dresses and could barely fit into a size 14 dress. UGH.
So today I will be working out during lunch (the only time I have to do so). There is an 8 week program on Runnersworld.com to get people started. I will be starting that today. The first week is a run walk combo every other day. Run one minute, walk two minutes. On the in-between days you fast walk for 30 minutes. I can totally do that!
I just HAVE to keep my nose to the grind stone on this. I want to feel amazing on my Wedding day.
