Birthday week musings.

I made my own birthday cake, which meant not being ill from things I don't digest well. Haven't been eating properly, or enough though, and I need to buckle down.

Someone close to me was telling me an odd story about having to pee outside, and a hummingbird getting interested in their urine.
Made them get their sugars checked and it popped a 7.2.
crossed fingers that they can manage thru Dietary change and exercise.
Guess I *am* gonna be that weird witchy ol person out in the sticks. lol

After many years of calling myself a "picky eater"-it appears that it's likely ARFID, triggered by food reactions.

I bring this up, because I had to get firm with someone, after they kept bringing the tables attention to the different things on my plate.

Instead of freaking out about it, I told them that if they continued talking about my food, I was going to be unable to eat at all.
They made one more comment, and I quietly laid down my knife and fork, and waited.

I'm proud of myself for stepping up, while not letting my emotions run my mouth.

Maturity? 🤔

I'll be back on the grind after the fam leaves, adding too much pressure isn't going to help me get to my goal.
