So, what did I say? "Someone catch me before I get cocky and gain the weight back"? Well, I know it's only 4 1/2 pounds, but it's not water weight, it's not muscle I put on, this is just plain old fat I've gained back. So, how did this happen? Easy answer. 1) I stopped hand writing my foods. 2) I decided to add in one dinner out a week, but that quickly turned into twice a week. 3) Since I didn't have my journal in front of me, it was easy to lose track of my points and go over. Luckily I weigh myself weekly. My immediate goal is to drop back to basics and get back to my goal weight.

My life has changed so much it'dizzying! As you know I'm a yoga teacher and since I lost 30 pounds I've picked up 3 more classes a week to teach......as if I'm better somehow because I'm thin.....well, maybe my attitude got lighter along with my body. Whatever the reason I'm glad for the business. I went clothes shopping with my husband over the weekend. It's not like he dictates to me (although some might take it that way) but he has a good eye for fashion and what looks good and doesn't. Usually he suggests black or other dark colored pants but this time he loved the white pants I tried on! I went one step further and tried on a white lace top with them and he LOVED the outfit! Woohoo!

Life is great as a thinner person. I mean I'm the same when it comes to the basics of my personality, but I walk taller and with more confidence. This renewed confidence comes through when I teach my yoga classes, with friends and especially meeting new people. I find I want and can do more physically so I am! I don't sit at home anymore when bored. I get out and do something active even if I have to do it alone.
