Didn't journal for a couple of days but entered all of my food in the calorie counter. Stayed within my range. Still not putting out as much as I take in (LOL) but trying to drink more water in hopes it will "move things along." Walked to work again today. It was pleasant and cool, only about 57F. The walk home will be a little warmer but still low humidity. Brought a lot of low calorie portion controlled snacks to work. I usually don't end up eating them, but having them here and available somehow makes me less panicky. I need to start doing something with weights to start building muscle. I'll probably pick up some small (2-5 lb) weights to start. The journey continues...

Pretty quiet day. Was at work from 9 until 3 or so, then went shopping. Before I went I ate a bowl of split pea and ham soup so I wouldn't be shopping hungry. It worked. Bowel issues are nominally better. Think I did well staying on track this week, only one major slip up.

Weigh in yesterday could have been worse, but I was disappointed nonetheless. Until the last couple of days, I had done very well, staying within my calorie range. I also had been consistently walking. Trying not to let discouragement set in...Still having that bowel issue. Finally gave in and took a laxative this morning. Sorry if this is TMI, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that has this issue when dieting. You would think eating healthy would be welcomed by your body. I guess it is rebelling against the changes!

Not sure why I didn't journal yesterday. All 'n' all, a pretty mundane day. Didn't do much except sat at the computer all day catching up on work. Did great staying within my calorie range. Starting to have problems with "regularity," though. Will probably end up having to take something. Oh, well...this happens a lot when I lower my calorie intake and for obvious reasons, wreaks havoc on the scale. Weigh in is tomorrow. Ugh!
Today started out great. Unfortunately tonight was a hospital staff meeting and they had Chinese buffet! One of my weaknesses. I thought I did well, only taking small amounts of everything, but when I just input the food into the calorie counter, I was shocked! Today is the first day since I started back on the plan that I have gone over and I am pretty bummed, but tomorrow is a new day. I plan to walk to work again tomorrow (couldn't today because I needed the car to go to the hospital meeting). Wish me luck!
