Restarting my diet on Monday, folks. I have to figure out how not to sabotage myself every October as I have done in the past, when I go out of State to work for the month.
The 5 Factor Diet has served me very well in the past, so I'm continuing it. Just have to remain disciplined and not let "real life" get in the way too much.

Down 2.6lbs, which is pretty good considering the horrendous increase of the past 5 weeks. It has been a little sticky (no pun intended) getting the sugar out of my system, but I'm getting there. More than that has been getting the EFFECTS of the sugar out of my system, ie. by way of energy levels as I've been extremely tired. We did around 300 or so readings during October, and it's completely zapped me.
I'm starting back with my exercise on Monday. With the holidays coming up it will be tough but I'm trying to battle through everything. Don't want to think about another disruption in my schedule as I've been hired to read for a large group of people in Southern Maine for 3 days directly after Thanksgiving. I will be travelling on Amtrak from New York (10 hours) and spending 3 days with a great hostess who is looking to cook for me! Fingers crossed she will understand my need to take it easy.

Well, I've decided to 'fess up!
After working 12-14 hour days in Salem, MA since the end of September and pretty much eating anything I wanted, I've found (to my horror) that I'm up a hefty 12lbs. To be honest, this happens to me every September as I struggle to even get enough sleep, much less put anything healthy together food-wise. We got a half hour for lunch, and a half hour for dinner. Often, lines were so long for food, we were forced to eat whatever we could get our hands on, and prepping food to bring in was pretty much impossible as all we wanted to do was to collapse into bed. So, I've decided to just jump back on the bandwagon and try to get the weight off as soon as possible.
I hope that everyone will help and support me as I try my best to jump back on without beating myself up.

Well this is my last weigh in before heading out to Salem, MA where I'll be working for 4 weeks with the church, and I've maintained. I wanted to be below 158 but I guess it wasn't meant to be, so let's see if I can at least come back without having gained any weight. We'll be staying near a large park, so I'm taking running shoes and weights.

It's been a highly stressful week for me this past seven days, and I'm hopeful that things will even out shortly.
Getting ready for the madness and craziness that is Salem, MA and we're leaving New York to go on September 28th. In past years, I know it's been very difficult to keep to any kind of schedule and eat properly so I'm hoping that I can up my exercise instead. We are going to be staying close to a big park (I'm told), so I'm taking my running gear.
I hope that everyone has had a better week than me. At least, though, I am the same weight - amazingly enough!
