Thankfully all the alcohol this week did not add to the carbs. I suffer from caffeine-induced anxiety and after drinking caffeine during the day, I need a drink at night to calm down. No caffeine today -- I need a break from this roller-coaster ride!!!!! Coffee is so alluring as its color is beautiful and it smells and tastes so good -- so soothing and comforting -- at first -- ....oh well.

Hi Guys, I wonder if calories are more important than carbs or vice versa. Today I was in Walmart and passed by a full-length mirror....I liked what I saw. The gov't recommends no more than 300 grams of carbs a day. I'd like to keep mine below 100. This week I will continue with the low carb challenge.

I had a high carb breakfast today and am very sluggish and sleepy. I do not feel like I typically do when I start the morning off with my protein shake. I have learned that a breakfast with this many carbs sets me up for a day of
too many
carbs, which is deadly. Believe me I know. My father had a diabetic stroke this past weekend and is still in the hospital. Food can be as dangerous as drugs. No more carbs today.
