Well, I didn't get a chance to get on here yesterday, so I missed the deadline for updating for my pound for pound challenge :( Darn it!! Have done fairly well, though. I have hubby's support again so it's helping me immensely. The scale this morning said 153.6, so I will put that on here as my weigh in for the bootcamp challenge and hope that it sticks or drops more for my official WW weigh in on Monday :)

Well, I committed to a challenge and am really striving to do this one.
I have read a few journals this morning, commented on a couple, exercised, had my oatmeal, and am now journaling myself, so I have
fulfilled
some of the requirements so far. As of this morning, the scale shows me down about 2.5 pounds from last Monday at my WW weigh in, but I'm not recording that officially as I haven't gone to a meeting this week. As lifetime, I am only required to go monthly, but I think I will get back to going at least every other week, maybe even weekly to get back on track.
Have done pretty well this week. Have been recording food quite well, with the exception of New Years Eve, but even then, we stayed home with the kids and had snacks like cheese and crackers and veggies, so couldn't have been too bad. My nephew turned 4 on Saturday and then hubby's birthday was Sunday, so had the temptations of cake and goodies, but made sure to have a very small piece of both cakes. We went out to dinner at Roadhouse Grill for hubby's bday and I did okay with a grilled chicken salad.
As for just some fun stuff, went out Saturday night with my sister and a couple of friends to celebrate hubby's bday.
We had so much fun!
We actually closed the bar! :) Played pool all night, listened to music, and just had a really good time. I was the designated driver for me and hubby, so I only had two drinks early in the evening, then stood back and watched. Got home around 2:30, then had to turn around and get up to go pick up our daughter from a friends house by 9, so not much sleep. I was fine, but it took hubby most of the day to start feeling 'better'-- he has sworn off beer now :)
Finally have all the Christmas decorations put away-- just have to get the outside lights down. It's been so wet and yucky here so hubby has not felt like doing it.
I guess that's about it for me. Gotta head off to work now.

Even after a late night
(sans drinking as we stayed home and played games with the kids)
, I got up yesterday morning and did the 30 day shred workout once again!!
3 days in a row!!
I usually won't do a workout at home when my hubby is home, but I did yesterday and was just fine. My muscles must be getting used to it as well, because I was able to walk up and down the stairs yesterday and this morning without hurting too much! :)
Doing good with eating.
Hubby and I talked each other out of going to a Mexican restaurant
yesterday and came home instead to make some really yummy chicken fajitas with a lot more veggies than we would have gotten at the restaurant, and without the chips and salsa! Trying to really focus on the new
'filling foods'
idea and not just using my points on basically
empty calories
. Have seen quite a fluctuation on the scales the last couple of days, but am hoping to see at least a two pound solid loss by the time Monday rolls around again!
That's about it for today. No early morning workout today as I have a meeting with my boss shortly and then have to take care of
leaky roofs, lack of food
, etc., at my stores.

I woke up this morning feeling soooo sore from my workout yesterday, but
still did it again this morning
!! If anyone is looking for a good, quick workout, look into
Jillian Michaels 30 day shred
. She does a routine of 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio and 1 minute of abs, circuiting through for 20 minutes. Doesn't sound like much, but it is a great workout!
Did good with eating yesterday. Complained to hubby that I was 'feeling munchy' after dinner and he suggested that I make some popcorn--
Great Idea
!! Only 1 point for 5 cups and it's also a 'filling food'! So I didn't end up cheating, and I had his support! Score! :)
Well, gotta get ready for work. I expect we'll be pretty busy today!
