Got to the gym yesterday and realized I forgot my earbuds.I like to pick out one song and put it on repeat.Kind of gets me pumped and allows me to better concentrate.I struggled a bit to get through my workout but got it done.Added a protein shake with 1/3 cup of steel cut oats post workout.It will be a bit of increase in carbs 3 days a week so I will see how it goes.

I went to a buffet yesterday.I had spent most of the day working in the snow and hadn't had time too eat so I was starving.Recipe for disaster! I looked around at all the food and was tempted to eat everything in sight.However they also had a Hibachi.So I went over and put some steak, shrimp, chicken and eggs on my plate and had the man cook them up.Told him to use garlic and oil.At the end of the meal I got a fortune cookie with my check.I opened it up and it said."A dream is just a dream.A goal is a dream with a plan and a deadline." Good luck to everyone in achieving their goals! Oh and I didn't eat the fortune cookie lol

I've had a small steady loss going for the past few days now.May have a few extra calories tonight but only in the way of protein and fat.It would be very easy to make an excuse for a cheat day but that's not going to happen.I'm hitting my goal before summer :)
