The smoothie and cheese were due to a blood sugar emergency, I was dropping fast, 2 points in ten minutes. Fucking hypoglycemia!!

OK, the weekend was pretty great. I'm hurting a bit, bruised one of my forearms at the archery booth, got a blister on one of my heels, but besides that the weekend was really fun. Was walking a shitload and got a lot of good interaction at the Ren Faire. Though yesterday's visit kinda started off with a bit of chaos due to a pretty bad wreak that happened right as we were trying to get into the parking lot for the faire. Everyone was alright, myself and those I was visiting the faire went to help them until the ambulance arrived (There were three people in our car, including myself, who have various types of first responder and emergency training so we really were in the right place at the right time to help them out)so we got in a bit late but it was worth it to make sure those in both cars were alright.
It was a bit scary to think that, had we been just a couple minutes later getting there it would have been us that got hit but thankfully it wasn't, not only because we likely would have had a lot more injuries due to how packed our car was but also because we were the car that had all the people who were best suited to helping with an emergency like that. If it had been us we likely wouldn't have had so much help. But all's well that ends well. The worst injuries were whiplash and a suspected minor concussion. Considering how much damage there was to the vehicles I must say the injuries were not that bad considering. They were lucky, very lucky.

So then, this is a Ren Faire weekend, it is SOOOO hard to track what you're eating when half the time it's little bits and bites while you're walking around a faire. Honestly though, most of what else I had was just drinks and a little mac and cheese.

So, decided this morning that I wanted to run. In only about 30 seconds I covered about the length of a football field and a half. That's about 150 yards. Not half bad for someone who hasn't ran in about two years. I honestly didn't expect to make it a full 50 yards without my bad knee giving out or this out of shape body giving in so needless to say I surprised myself, especially considering I actually slipped on the grass a bit during the sprint and got right back up and went again without much of a pause at all.
I honestly surprised myself quite a bit. I guess this worn out body of mine still has a good bit of umph to it yet. My ankle is only bothering me a little after that but when I slipped I did twist it just slightly so that's to be expected. Now I know a sprint like that is no big deal to a lot of people on this site. A number of people here are likely in pretty damn good shape without health issues and could prolly run laps around me but still, for someone too sick to get out of bed half the time and who rarely gets the chance to even get out of the house, I don't think I did half bad with that little sprint.

Ya know what? I decided to be adventurous in food a bit today, starting with fried toast, fried toast is almost impossible to track because, even though it was once a big British thing, like over a hundred years ago, there are NO stats for it in the modern day. Sooo, not gonna even try to track that, even though I did like it.
