Week 8. Mothers day treats. 6 workout days including HIIT, weights, bosu ball, and a full day of walking around Knotts. Some stress factor from my kiddo getting lazy about homework. Bottom line, the scale did not move, and that's ok.

Week 7. The new diet has transitioned to my new normal. Finding my cooking to be more experimental using plant based protiens. I made a lentil tofu chili that was very satisfying. Weigh in reward:a new dumbbell for the home gym.

Week 6. This week was about recovery from oral surgery. The mix of pain meds and antibiotics left me with no appetite. one day liquids only, and 4 days soft things like jello, applesauce etc. Stitches came out this am. Ignored my macro goals in exchange for what worked this week. Lost 1 lb per the scale.

Week 5. Lost 1 lb!! Even small progress is good progress. Learned how to prep dry chickpeas. Endulged my OCD a bit with glass containers for my pantry. Fitness included running, squats and a 2 hour hike.

week 3. Weight has not changed. daily calorie average was very low this week 1000. Hit macros goals almost perfectly. included a HIIT and a squats workout this week. finally fixed my scale for weigh ins. low fat/low cholesterol diet is pushing carbs as dominant macro. possible that is why progress is a bit slow.
