I have an excuse for my performance! My period had me STARVING for sweets, and ladies we know what it's like when the hormones grab hold. On top of that my stomach is in shambles so bread is pretty much the only thing I can eat without doubling over in pain and running to the bathroom. Ill have to rely on grains way more than normal over the next 24 hrs or so but i'm being careful and fully plan to pump up the volume upon recovering. Plus, things are starting to look better so i can't quit now!

Today was pretty much a trainwreck eating-wise. I had a breakfast of a banana and a skim chai latte which was fine but then i had a bowl of rice krispies, a granola bar, some left over greek salad, carrot and dip, and 3 mini quiches. Hooooooly crap! It was 100% stress eating as 1) my application to study abroad in the middle east was due today and i was finishing everything last minute, 2)I decided to buy a ticket to surprise my best friend for her birthday without telling my parents 3) My lifeguarding test is tonight, and 4) I kept feling like I was going to pass out so i figured i should eat something. Better luck tomorrow

Woohoo! More weight is coming off! I just had some delicious turkey chili for lunch and now i'm off to the pool. The greatest difference i've noticed is my attitude towards both life and food. I am not super tempted to eat bad foods and I am becoming incresingly optimistic about this whole journey! I believe I can make it to 155 by Mexico (Feb 21)!!!

I signed up to do an hour and a half of spinning this morning but slept through it... ugh what can i say, sleep is a precious commodity. Now I need to get my buns moving and hit the ellipticle or run outside. I need to ween myself off of raisin bran, it's hindering my diet effort. Besides one too many bowls of cereal I am doing well, yay.
