Yikes! Went quite a bit over my calories today. It's a little after 6pm, so I'm done eating for the night, and I'm still going to get to the gym, so I'm not going to beat myself up to bad....I see I really need to watch the mindless snacking.

I think it's time I make a doctors appt. I've been avoiding it for months, but my sleep is really messed up. My husband says I snore really loud and sometimes I have trouble breathing. I have woke up gasping for breath at times. I also wake up tired, like I just didn't sleep well. I'm so mad at myself. I never thought my weight would ever become a health issue. I just hope as I lose the pounds my snoring/or whatever is up improves.

I ran 1.19 miles in 20 mins....it was more half jog/walk. I have a goal in mind of 2 miles in 20 mins. I want to run a 5K this summer, so I know I'll have to improve on my goal once I reach it to 3 miles and a set time.

Hi, I'm new to fatsecret. My wake up call to lose weight was about a year ago. I decided to go try a semester of college and I remember walking into the classroom and I was so scared I wouldn't fit in the desks. I did fit, but my stomache was all squished into the desk. I started dieting then and would measure my progress by how I fit in the desks :). I think I was doing ok and then just let it go and started gaining weight again. This fall I plan to go back and finish school. I just don't want to be the weight I am anymore.
I joined a gym and I plan on starting running and lifting weights. Also I'm trying to be more aware of what I'm eating. I like cooking so I don't think it will be to much of a problem there.
