We are almost done cleaning out the horrible hoarders nest of my father in laws house. it is filthy and seemingly endless, but we are getting close. have to be done by the end of the month because we only rented it until then and have given the notice. The landlord will have to do a massive renno. This place is old, decrept and falling apart. We have had FOUR 20 yard dumpsters filled and hauled away. There is a massive amount of wood and scraps piled up we need to deal with. Tires, scrap iron, mattresses, I swear like 200 empty 5 gallon buckets, 3 or 4 dozen used up very large tarps. You name it. I am not kidding.
We've booked a cruise for later next month as our "job well done" to our selves after the hospice care and clean up efforts. Tempers have been flaring lately. We are tired, and fed up with how this mess was left for us. And quite angry that this old guy would do this to his family.
All of that asside, the massive work out involved with it, my weight is down down down. That feels good.
So, for now, Happy Tuesday - until next time.

I haven't been here for a while. We have been busy cleaning out my father in law's place. Imagine the show hoarders, double it and make it filthy. EWWWW. We are almost done.
I joined a boot camp class twice a week a couple weeks ago. I've lost some weight this last month and a half. Not any size though. I think I'm gaining muscle so it's a good feeling anyhow.
One more week of this first step.
Here's my "steps" idea:
Step 1 - commitment to exercize 4 times per week. (Boot camp 2x @ home 2 x)
Step 2 - Being strict and disciplined with myself about my nutrition 4 days per week - while at the same time continuing with step 1
Step 3 - Maintain this for 3 months.
Step 4 - Change it up and add challenge to my steps routine.

Sounds funny? Sounds complicated? Sounds IDK? But I'm making it work so fooey on you. :)

Walk Walk Walk. I finally got to go walking!!!! Walked a whole mile. Sounds small, but a victory is a victory. Been a week of heavy meals. Celebrated by b-day, then my mother in laws, then my brother in law came into town from out of state and we've eaten a couple big meals with him, now tomorrow going out again with my Dad to celebrate my late birthday. But- even with that said, I have eaten less than I normally would and have cut way way back on the soda. Down from a previous average of 6 - 8 soda's a day to 1 or 2 and some day's none. It's been hard retraining my family and friends to stop offering or just getting me one, but we are working on it. I am discovering a little more energy and a whole lot less bloating and inflamation in my hands. Win Win I'll take it. OK off to weight in.. .. .. Grrrrrr not looking forward to it.
