This is the first week of both the Pedometer and 10 Minutes A Day challenges. I joined both because I figure they kind of piggy-back. That being said, though, I do try to think of them separately to trick myself into getting just a little bit more exercise.
Yesterday I did a few laps around Walmart. I forgot to wear my pedometer, though, so can't really swear it was even 3 miles. I did make a point of drinking more water. I generally drink a bottle a day but tried to pay more attention and empty that bottle by early afternoon and then refill it. So I think I probably drank about 150% of my usual amount.
Today I used an online tool called Map My Walk to figure out a couple of routes around my neighborhood. I've got two routes mapped: one is 2 miles and the other is 1 mile. Between those, I should be able to get my walking in each day!
