What a whirlwind of activity since March. The family friend I've been helping over the last 5 years passed away last month, so I was very busy with arrangements. In the midst of all that, I was overloaded with work projects. Then I had a hysterectomy on 4/11. It has been 1 week post-op, and I'm starting to feel pretty good as of today. I took percocet at the hospital, but nothing except Motrin since I've been home, so I'm pleased with my pain management. The worst of it was the bloat the first few days after going home. Magnesium citrate took care of that. Feeling hopeful because a lot of legal baggage caused by an unethical person involved in my late friend's care has resolved itself. I'm just hoping Mr C can get some relief for his spinal injuries. I'm not obsessing over food, and it's too uncomfortable to overeat since the surgery. And the sun is shining for a change. Yay.
