I am so happy with my progress! I would have loved to have dropped so much more, but I am so proud of myself. 5-6 pounds in 2 weeks is great! Now that I am in phase 2 I can really incorporate more exercise into my program. It is so challenging for me to exercise a lot when I am being so restricitive with my diet. If I am exercising hard then it is difficult for me to be really strict with my diet. So, now that I am on phase 2 and I do not feel as restrictive- I know I will feel better exercising more. I just felt so weak, sick, and dizzy a lot durinn phase 1...so this next phase will be great- food wise. Just having some high fiber cereal today was such a treat. I also really get how eating lower glycemic foods end cravings for more food- which is such a fantastic piece of knowledge!!! Also, keeping it zero carb after 1pm- something I have tried to do in the past- was a BREEZE tonight! After eating zero carbs for 2 weeks at each meal makes zero carbs at night seem super doable!
I realized that I could have been eating beans during phase 1- I love my black beans!!! Now I know better!! Also, I realized that I am not supposed to be eating hamburgers!!! I had one protein style bc at in n out there were not a lot of options...now I know better!!!
I am soooo happy to be in phase 2!! I DID IT!!!! I know I have a way to go..but I am so optimistic!!! Cutting out a lot of empty calories and eating mostly nutrient and fiber dense foods is such a healthful way to go!! YEA!!
