HA HA!

I found a food log of what I ate this time a year ago. I ate the grossest stuff!!! Here's what I ate on 5/2/2007

5.2.2007
salsa/chips-300 cal.
2 grilled cheeses with jelly-650 cal.
salsa/chips-300 cal.
orange soda-150 cal.
Swiss Cake Roll-250 cal.
Total=1,600


EWWWWWWWW!


My Thoughts:

*I would never EVER even think of eating a Little Debbie EVER AGAIN! Yuck!
*And I drank soda back then.... I would never let soda touch my lips now.
*I ate TWO fatty, nasty grilled cheeses.... with jelly on top.... White, starchy bread with processed cheese and jelly made with high fructose corn syrup.... NASTY!
*Oh, and eating chips and salsa for two meals... Fatty, fried chips with pretty much no nutritional value, high calories, high fat, high sodium....

NO WONDER I WAS HAVING A WEIGHT PROBLEM!!!!!!!




It doesn't take a genius to figure out that eating like that will make you gain weight. It has taken a year and a hell of alot of work to go from 180 lbs. to 153 lbs. It has been a year of dragging my butt out of bed to go walking even when sleep sounded like a better alternative. I have come to terms with the fact that some foods will never be my friend no matter how I look at it. (Little Debbies, chips, soda, cheese, white bread, jelly) I have gradually changed my diet to consist mostly of raw fruits and veggies, fish, and high fiber grains, and fat free milk or yogurt.

I am cool with the fact that my weight loss has not been quick. I have had setbacks and serious plateau periods where my hard work was not rewarded! But right now, I just feel good that I have my eating under control, my body is in action, and my mind is at ease. I have mastered this thing that has plagued me for most of my life... FAT.

I can just see myself now in my cute new blue 2-piece swimsuit. The day is getting closer and closer!!!!! I want my friends who have always seen me as the "fat girl" in our circle of friends to notice and be wowed. I want my enemies to see me looking fantastic.



I feel good and very inspired to keep going now:)
69,4 kg Tot nu toe verloren: 0,9 kg.    Nog te gaan: 3,6 kg.    Dieet gevolgd: 100%.
Gewichtsafname van 1,6 kg per week
