Did a carb experiment last weekend and gained 4 pounds! Took me all week to get near to where I was last Friday. All it took was one fish & chip dinner Sunday, one pastry on Saturday, stayed below 1650 cal but the re-introduction of too many carbs made for quick weight-gain. Unbelievable!
82,5 kg Tot nu toe verloren: 10,1 kg.    Nog te gaan: 7,6 kg.    Dieet gevolgd: Redelijk Goed.

I've read that carbs cause fluid retention but it might also be sodium in the fish and chips and even in the pastry that caused your weight to rise so much. I wonder if low-sodium carbs foods would cause weight to rise too? Porridge? Green beans? Higher potassium carb foods (fruit/veggies) help balance out the sodium so they might get rid of that excess fluid.
