Busy the last 2 days with mom. She fell on her patio Thursday and couldn't get back up. Fortunately no broken bones but I didn't anticipate how hard it is to get someone back on their feet who has little strength and arthritis in every joint. Strained my back a little while lifting her from her waist. Been trying to find portable devices that help with lifting handicapped people. My sibs and I are about to give her some ultimatums in the form of choices. Walk-in bath or bathing assistant, being one. She is so stubborn and this won't be easy.
Went shopping with her yesterday and scored tons of bargains. She was pleased.
