If I cut out all the high-calorie snacks, my calorie intake would be close to where it should be. Today will be a test bc I'm going to mom's and there's still a big jar of M&Ms in the kitchen. I need to pep talk myself while I'm driving over and hide that jar in her pantry. Out of sight, out of mind.
It's almost 8am and the sun is out, skies are blue, flowers blooming. Lots of pollen, but I can walk my dog a mile like I did yesterday.
As for the virus, it's closing in. Mr C got an email from a clinic he visited saying that he was exposed to a healthcare worker 2 wks ago who has the virus. I think he'll be ok bc it has been a while and he has no symptoms. I also heard from a friend whose mom is in a rehab facility where a worker recently tested positive. That's frightening for all the disabled and elderly at that place. Mr C feels certain that it's a matter of time before someone in our immediate family catches it. I just have to make sure mom stays in her bubble.
11am: Walked about 1.5 miles with my dog at 9 today. We got hot, but it is beautiful out there with all the flowers and trees blooming at once. Feeling pretty good. Activity is medicine.
