9st 5 (1.5 on at WW) After a week of emotional eating and less exercise my gain this week is not surprising, not as bad as it could have been, for which I should be thankful, and not inspired to carry on! I had to really push myself out for my walk this morning and definitely felt more sluggish thanks to my lousy food choices this week. On the plus side it was hot and the first chance I've had to wear last year's (long) shorts, so not going hell for leather was at least a bit less sweaty than it might have been otherwise! I am honest enough with myself to know that my figure is never going to be a thing of great beauty, but I am oh so grateful for all that my body can still do, and I mustn't throw all my hard work away on comfort eating just because my emotional life is in disarray. This, however, is a triumph of optimism over experience, the weight of my personal history is not on my side on this one! But there's always room for grace and change, and a first time for everything, and who knows but that this might be it for me this time? :-)
