I have also fallen prey to the wonderful healthy nuts - under very stressful conditions, I just kept dipping my paw into the cashew or almond jar, grabbing a big bowl of toasted muesli full of lovely fruits and almonds, seeds and grains. 16 months on I was 20kg heavier. So I can relate!
Great stuff to have in your backpack if you’re going to get lost in the wilderness - it will definitely help you survive! But be careful of nuts and dried fruits otherwise. Extraordinarily calorie dense!
