I'm up just over goal, although I ate under my total calories yesterday. Hubby & I were out all afternoon & I didn't eat lunch or a snack. It's interesting that when I'm out like that I don't really get hungry. I even went to the grocery store at the end & the only snack foods I bought were potato chips for Hubby. I did buy 2 frozen pizzas but everything else was fresh fruit, veggies, fish & meat.
I found cushions for our deck chairs and they were free. I use an app that gives me points for foods I buy called Ibotta. I had enough points, I bought a giftcard to cover the cost of my cushions 😊💰💰 Gotta love getting stuff for free...and bargains!
I also had a $5 reward I used toward a new T shirt that was already on sale @ half off for $15. And 2 coupons @ Kroger for free sliced cheese & free Bagels. 🧀🥯
We walked from one end of the Outlet Mall to the other. Hubby was looking for an unlined shirt style jacket. He didn't have any luck but I got a lot of steps in. For some reason my knees started really bothering me. 😒 Occasionally when I'm walking downhill they do that, but I'm not sure what caused the pain. I rubbed Diclofenac on them after we got home & they're better. Still a twinge today in the left knee. It started raining on our way home so we weren't able to do our neighborhood walk...which is probably just as well since I was limping by then.
I was able to do my exercises & yoga routine today. I thought maybe something I did yesterday aggravated my knees but nothing seemed to bother them today.
After my workout I filled up the sprayer & fertilized all of my roses & flowering plants. And I potted a Vinca I bought for a hanging basket. I needed a shower after that so decided to have a nice soak in the tub.
This morning, our next door neighbor texted a pic from their security camera from last night. A bear....not sure if it's the same one we had on our deck....was sauntering past the front of their house. The pic was from 11:20 last night. I was out at around 11:30 getting our uncooperative (for Hubby) Yorkie to do a final potty before bed. Since it had rained, I decided to give the gardens a refresher spritz of deer repellant. I have a bunch of budding perennials I'd rather not become a snack for the deer. So it was almost midnight when I came back in. Glad I didn't run into the wandering bear 😳
I think we'll have Salmon for dinner with asparagus.
Time for our walk....supposed to rain according to the forecast, but it's sunny right now.
