Thank you all so much. I have deliberately set my calorie allowance lower than it recommends so thatI don't have to panic too much if I go over. Hate this, the steroids make me so hungry, however that is no excuse x

I was the same, steroids for my lungs plus the underactive thyroid and my spine that works when it wants to and stops me from exercising...makes u hungry, bored &grazing, putting on weight then feeling even worse....vicious circle! BUT u CAN do it, u won't b on the steroids forever and ul b feeling better in no time,,and thanks for the tip of lowering the calorie allowance,,I didn't think of that!! 💪❤️

Thanks all of you, so sweet of you to motivate me. Worse time for me is when I am up at night, which is many times. Unfortunately I will always be on steroids due to Addison's but I drop them, don't get as hungry but get ill, the balancing act is almost impossible. The very low calorie diet I was on for 3 months seemed so depriving but I had a goal out of it, and now i am finding it harder to stick to the 1500cals than I did to the 800 who knew? Was up in the night eating low calorie biscuits and torturing my own mind for doing it. At 29 cals a biccy it can add up a lot. Anyway less moaning on my part. Just don't want to put on what I suffered to lose on the 3 month diet. Also need to lose so much more as you can see. The program won't let me follow you all but I did try. God bless you all x

Sorry Dawnie,,didn't realise u had to take steroids long term. Don't beat urself up over a few biscuits, u can't help the hunger pangs u get with steroids ❤️ maybe look up a few recipes for 'protein balls' and keep sone of them in ur snack tub,(chocolatey) make up sone healthy flapjacks(biscuits) and always stock ur fruit bowl (sugary)so u can fill that craving. My only other suggestion is stir fry, u can have loads of it and it's so healthy and filling. Bean sprouts, mushrooms, broccoli, green beans, onion and whatever else u fancy chucking into ur wok or deep Frying pan with a splash of water and soy sauce, no oil. Should keep u feeling full. Hope u find something that works ❤️

Yes it does make it hard with steroids Bootylicous, sorry you have to take them for your lungs, that sucks.
