sodium is harder to kick then sugar. it's in freaking EVERYTHING. it's sneaky and adds up fast. anything canned, diet soda, bread, wraps. all that "healthy" stuff is loaded with it. it literally is what makes things taste delicious tho 🤤

Interesting that sugar is not a true addiction, although in the psychiatric community that issue is still debated, but salt actually is. It is even felt to be the source of all addictions. All of this is determined by the actual changes that the brain undergoes as seen on certain types of scans
