Endlichnichtraucher's Logboek, 05 sep 14

I woke up with a sore throat... I can't get sick now, 2 weeks before my halfmarathon and a week befor the exam in uni.

Drinking ginger-tee and seeing what happens.
60,2 kg Tot nu toe verloren: 6,8 kg.    Nog te gaan: 1,7 kg.    Dieet gevolgd: Redelijk Goed.

Take zinc. That will cut short your cold, if that's what you have.

Gargle frequently with warm water and a tea spoon of salt mixed together. That should help. I also find honey and lemon in hot water comforting. Try and avoid cold and flu remedies you buy over the counter. I find they usually prolong things. Try not to worry and maybe lighten up on yourself a bit ;-)

Oh well, it happens to us all at some point and one thing that's a comfort is it will pass and the best thing you can do is to look after yourself. Get up and have a nice warm shower, make sure you're eating properly, get plenty of rest, keep up the fluids and even though it sounds cliche..."you WILL be right in no time ;-)" Life would be boring without exams and half marathons but you can do neither without your health". I'd say your immunity is low because you might be a bit run down, take care of yourself.
