Just passed my 1yr anniversary on Fat Secret, and lost about 85lbs so far.
Got my paperwork back for the blood work done after last week's Dr. visit (When I'd stunned them with my weight loss!), and my numbers came back excellent!
They weren't happy at the visit when I told them that I wasn't taking the thyroid medication they'd prescribed (Stopped about 30 days into it, then found FS and altered my diet in a big way!), and so last week we agreed to get the blood work done first to see if any meds were still needed.
It's not!
Would have loved to see their faces when they got the results!

How much did you lower your stats? (A1C, Total Cholesterol, LDL, etc.)? Losing 85 pounds in a year had to have made a serious dent. I'm having a follow-up on my Lipids done next week.

Are your thyroid numbers okay after you stopped taking the medication? I didn't think diet impacted that. I took medication for hyperthyroidism for several months and was able to stop when the numbers got to normal. I gained weight on the medication.
