Making some small adjustments might help. One piece of bacon for breakfast instead of 2. Not buying any dark chocolate for a while. Ration out cashews to just 1 oz a day. It's so easy to eat just a little more and a little more day by day, and I think that's what I've been doing.
It has been brutally hot here since the end of May. Feels like July-Aug already. The rain yesterday afternoon just made it a sauna. I'm still on the morning walk shift with Bubs, thank goodness. Afternoons are so infernal that it's too much for a fluffy dog to handle.
We're having Copper River salmon for dinner tonight. We've been seeing a lot of it for sale everywhere lately at pretty good prices. This will be the second time we've had it this month. It's delish. Been enjoying cherries by the dozens. Next month, the freestone peaches will be ready. I can't wait. Also, our blueberries should be ready for picking soon. And our tomatoes are starting to ripen. Love summer eating.

Hey, Coco! Sounds like things are going pretty well in your corner of the world. We just picked 17 pounds of bing cherries, and our first ripe tomato. The weather here has been brutal for the last few weeks, but it cooled off overnight with the storms! Now it will be in the 80's they are saying for the next 10 days, with lows in the low 60's so there goes the pool temp...crazy weather! Have a great weekend, my friend! Weight is looking good!

Thanks, Stef! That's nice that you can go pick your own cherries. I don't think there are any cherry growers here this far South. I'd be all over 'em if there were!
