Mid week weigh in. This looks like being a huge weight loss week although could adjust upwards too especially with inflammation after the op. 1.5 kg lost since Saturday.

I reckon loss is partly due to stress as op today. Wait and see. Not sure when I'll clock in next. I'm happy with my progress so far. 8.2 kg left to lose.

How did the op go?

The op went well. Surgeon only had to recreate an ACL from my hamstring. Painful still and a major op requiring me to have a machine breathing for me for some time. But it turned out well. The shredded meniscus and ligament going down inside leg had healed and healed well so he only had to clean up the old ACL which was completely snapped. So op was the right thing to do. Apart from that knee looked good he said. Not bad for a 60 year old. Just a horrible recovery. But I’ll get there. Hoping the inflammation clears soon and the effects of the anaesthetic too so I can start losing weight once again. In meantime just nurturing with good food and doing the painful exercises. She’ll be right mate! Onwards and downwards.👇
