So far today I have stuck to eating goals. Challenge this evening is to keep from snacking on the goodies at the historical society meeting. I will take two cheese sticks with me and my 0 calorie sparkling water. (P.S. I almost made it: I ate celery stuffed with pimento cheese, some cheese cubes and my cheese stick, but ... someone had made a sugar free cake and I did eat a piece. Total calories for the day: 1052. macros 17/63/20. )
So far today I have walked 6134 steps, 2250 of them on my 25 minute walk. No sciatic pain while walking today! Yay! I raked up four more piles of leaves to put on my garden. After I do that tomorrow, I plan to mow the leaves on the raised beds and till the remains into the soil. I have 1/2 a bag of peat to add also. We might have rain on Friday! Today was a lovely summery day with temps in the 70s. It will be back down to 50s after our cool spell comes in Friday bringing morning temps into the 30s.
While I was raking leaves, our dog Hank, our cat Petra, and one of Merrill's cows came over to watch. They didn't offer to help! Cows are often curious about people. Once a whole herd came over to watch Merrill change a flat tire. Once a hot air balloon flew over our place and the cows came running after it. Would love to have heard their discussion of what was going on!
