backincontrol's Logboek, 12 jan 15

I have not been on here in a very long time, partly guilt and partly resentment against myself. I was doing great for a while, but backslid horribly after losing my father in law. I was his caregiver. When he finally passed after suffering horribly for 2 months, my husband and I moved into his home. There was a ton of remodeling work to be done. We had hired some of our neighbors for a lot of the contracting work. They liked to drink....a lot. I found myself drinking along with them. (I never did like to drink that much, or alone for that matter) As the end of summer and fall passed I packed back on the pounds I was so trying to lose. I went to the Doctor because I had developed an ulcer. He said my weight was 178, and at 5'2" that puts me back in the obese category. I have stopped drinking since then. I went back for my follow up appt. on Thursday, and asked to be put back on phentermine to give me that nudge back in the right direction, and I also decided to renew my gym membership. Wish me luck, I need all the help I can get!!
