Well, I've not been posting here because I've been busy practicing for a speech contest, and I WON!! Here is the link to the video: Dom's Winning Speech - 6 or 7 minutesIf you have 6 or 7 minutes to spare, please watch and let me know what you think. I used my 90 pound weight loss as the vehicle for this inspirational speech. I was very pleased with the way it turned out. I got a lot of laughs! My weight crept up a little, but my clothes are still loose, so I can only guess that my body is still gaining muscle at the gym. Awesome!

Thank you all for your kind words. I worked very hard to polish this speech and memorize every word so I wouldn't stumble. CR and texg, saying the speech brought tears to your eyes makes my day! That means the message got through...that means the world to me. HCB, you are correct that the last time I competed, I came in runner up. That could happen again at the next level, as with each win, it goes to yet a higher level. Keep wishing me luck because I'm still working hard! Next contest is the end of march. Woo hoo! NM, I better look different! I lost the equivalent of a 13 year old girl!

Kelly, you can HAVE my shoes! LOL! They were so cute, I was told by audience members that they were DISTRACTING them from my speech! Can you believe that?? If you wear a size 9.5, they're yours, haha. I don't dare wear them again or I might lose due to people looking at my shoes and not my face! Thank you PW, Sherrie, Buffie, Draglist.
