Don’t know how this happened this week but I will take it! I haven’t been as active walking over the past couple of weeks due to the heat, humidity.
Work has been stressful and I’ve had to work hard at mindfulness to not get dragged into the vortex per se.
I’ve been eating smaller, cold meals or sticking to my staples when not feeling top shelf. Some might think, poor choices but for me they are staples. So, a PB&J sandwich with a piece of fruit and yogurt for lunch or eggs, cheese and veggies are my go to when I’m not up for a big dinner. The importance for me is managing my carbs to within 45 gms at meals and up to 20 gms for a snack. The Oh Henry bar doesn’t fit in that category but I figure it has peanuts in it and that’s totally okay for me.
I’ve made good changes overall and with commitment, self care, kindness I’m doing alright.
