This summer has been filled with physical activity and stress. Working on my mother’s estate was an enormous task. My brother, husband, son and I gave everything we had to get it on the market. It went under contract in two and a half days!! We have two weeks until the estate is closed. A chapter of my life and of my late parents is coming to a close. It’s bittersweet really. One moment I’m thrilled to start anew and the next I feel a sadness that can not be explained. Surely these emotions are playing havoc with my weight loss.

It's a big job and in part that sadness never goes away but it does compartmentalize into the memories you have. 🩷🙏

You have been through so much in the past years. The physical and emotional stress certainly contributes to weight gain. Cortisol is a bugger in that regard. I am so very sorry for your loss(es). It is a tough path to walk, and one that is never easy, particularly if you were close. Virtual hugs.
