9 degrees here this morning. Not typical for this time of year at all. What the heck is going on??? Got our back up generator back home and our old sofa delivered to our son. So, two things off our "to do" list which was nice. Ended up eating out twice yesterday. Lunch and dinner so scale was up today. Expected and no worries ... it will come down again.
Five things I'm grateful for today ...
1. getting our chimneys swept this afternoon
2. no sofa in the garage which means it can snow now
3. back up generator is ready to go if we need it
4. a very tasty and enjoyable dinner out last night with the love of my life
5. three days off from work in a row and one of them is paid!!
Have a great weekend ... I'm off to finish the laundry and get a few things done around here. Take care of yourselves with loving kindness!!!

lol! Hate to think about 9 degrees but it is heading my way I know! thing about us New Englanders here is that we are always surprised by the cold, every year! I don't even remember what I did with my winter coat...or maybe that's the oldtimers kicking in.

Brrrr! Bundle up, buttercup! I must have skipped a sentence in your previous journals to get the sofa/snow connection. So, if I have a garage and put a sofa in it I can keep the snow away? Is that how it works? So glad you had a great dinner out with your man. :)

Let's hear the menu items in the delectable dinner. We love talking about food - food - food. I am always a little amused when I log on to Fat Secret and the little indicator slides across the bottom of the screen that reads, "All Things Food - ." Have a great nine degree day Kiddo!

A nice weekend to just bundle up in a blanket and stay in. 9 degrees though? Brrrr! It's around 50 here in Texas, and it's considered cool. lol

9 is COLD. Amy: the sofa in the garage doesn't exactly keep the snow away ... but if it came there would be no place to park the car out of the snow!! LOL!! Poet: A big salad from the salad bar, Parmesan Crusted Cod, Rice Pilaf, Fresh Green Beans, and sourdough bread right from the oven!!
