WytchHazyl's Logboek, 15 jun 24

This is the end of my third week of going back to basics and clearing my kitchen of temptations. Odin (my fabulous treadmill who lurks in my living room to be seen at all times) and I have been meeting after work on a daily basis for 30 minutes of empty brain and moving body. My husband (Mr. Bear) is making progress with remembering that I am not doing anything when I get home from work until AFTER I walk. I have come to need this time to unwind from my very stressful job. I try to give Mr. Bear grace because of a TBI (in 1978 when a gas tank blew up in his face in the Army) and a bout of cancer (cancer-free 5 years, YAY!) when he doesn’t remember things very well. He gets frustrated with himself enough so I try to gently remind him of things. It’s the least I can do for such a wonderful human being. In three weeks I’ve evicted 25 pounds and have 83.4 to go!
