I'm embarking on a journey! I want to start running - not jogging or walking fast. My goal is to be able to run a 5K in 20 minutes by Valentines Day. So far, I've run 2 days doing my sprints and jumping rope. Yes, I am sore, but its a good sore. I haven't stepped on the scale. Maybe tomorrow!

Remember those sore muscles retain water to help them heal, which can show as a temporary gain on the scale. But those sprints will help you lose fat and get lean. Great job on the running!

Hey Cowgirl, you motivated me to join the c25k yesterday...and yes, i hate running. My goal is 5k in 30min---10min mile---thats still gonna be a mt everest of a challenge for me...Thanks for the boost.
