It is Thursday! I am pleased with my progress not bad for 4 days. Broke down and got raspberries and heavy whipped cream ... so while cheating it was not so bad.
The big problem is that I am having to cut down on my coffee... apparently I drink more coffee than my cream carb allowance will cover. So the choices are
A. Have only two luscious cups a day
B. have four MEH cups a day
C combine options a or b with option d
D {suck it up and learn to drink it black}.
E [drink (shudders) water].

I only have one addiction.... coffee....seems a shame to give it up. It is not hurting anyone except the poor bushes in ...ummmm.....er... where does this stuff grow?

I could have gone to walk more but the stunted sleep got in the way. I got to sleep in my bed last night, it was a 14 hour wonder! I even feel like being a human today, maybe even a sociable one!
I am still waiting for my personal salt issues to show up and start blowing up and retaining water...4 days with more salt than I have had in a whole month and no water issues. Hail BUTTER! Hail SALT! I love this "diet" I can taste my food again!

Hail Salt is right. My sodium is always low on my labs, so I enjoy. I do 2 cups of bullet proof coffee and the rest of the day I drink Talking Rain sparking water. I use the 40% heavy whipping cream I get from Costco. I also try to drink water when I can. I wish you well on your journey.

I couldn't decide on a country of origin for my habit. I'm going to look up bullet proof coffee. I have discovered Nordic Creamery cultured butter Oh my stars is it good!

Bullet proof is loaded with calories. I drink mine black, which means endless cups a morning. I think of it the same way as food: wean ourselves off of sugar/sweets. Flavored coffee can help with the taste issues, too.

Bulletproof is loaded with calories - the kind your (or rather my) body needs to burn fat.

Good start :) I'm loving the guilt-free butter and meat and cheese. It's gonna take a while to get the fat is good into my head though. Years of conditioning otherwise :( I rediscovered coffee with cream yesterday. Don't drink a lot of coffee anyway, I'm a tea-drinker, but I'm unwilling to use my carbs (on the Atkins induction phase anyway) on milk. Almond milk helps, but it's not the same. I'm having one coffee loaded with double cream (heavy cream in USA?) and loving it. If I have carbs left at the end of the day I'll have another. The rest of the time I drink mainly water with the occasional fruit tea. I'm getting used to it.

Try the bullet proof coffee thing with tea I used constant comment..kind of like a pastry in a cup...my new favorite.
