Snowed again last night. Not pleased. Dog decided that she was safe as long as she was close so sat down into the coals of a campfire to be with the wife. We have a friend who has Chesapeakes.Now that bread is pretty slow. In fact, one of their dogs was lost one day while it was watching workmen fell trees. Yep. It watched as the tree fell on top of it.

Poor puppy! My male dog almost did the same thing. I was burning boxes and had a big roaring fire when it began to thunder. He is terrified of storms and he ran up underneath the ledge of the box pile and huddled. It lit up in flames just as I pulled him away from it. He was scared and it seemed like a safe place!

I'm glad the Tika's OK. I spent many nice times with my Brittany "Grizzly" around campfires years ago, he was as good a dog as it gets. Good song, Lyle did some neat stuff. AND...congrats on the drop.
