I am back. For realz. Yes, I've obviously gained (that's life), but I've already lost 7 lbs since Thanksgiving, and that's the part to focus on. I am extremely pumped, and am really excited to lose this weight again, and not let myself gain it back. A few months ago, I ate too much for no good reason; There wasn't a huge trauma in my life, but I thought it big enough to stop caring about being healthy.
Anyway, I've been working out since I moved into a building with a gym (!!!), a month ago, and I love feeling healthier.
I want to go into this with the goal of being healthier - being able to run, and having lots of energy - not losing a lot of weight, quickly. Right now, there is a chocolate bar calling my name (it's been a stressful day), but I'm writing this journal entry instead! :-)
I'm really excited for my supper; an omlette with mushrooms, spinach and havarti cheese, and toast with sugar-free jam! Yes- I like breakfast for every meal.
I've also been cooking and baking a lot! All weight watchers recipes, of course! :-) I've made pumpkin butter, whole wheat pancakes, chili, curry chickpeas, spinach and chickpea soup, and apple crumble! I really recommend www.skinnytaste.com, for some of these amazing recipes. The pumpkin butter is sooo delicious, especially on the pancakes! Shoot -now I'm getting hungry! :-P
